Step One – Agricultural Building Dimensions

The dimensions of your steel frame agricultural building are dependent on the use to which you’re planning to put it:

What we need is the height, width, and length – these are the key dimensions. We’ll also discuss with you whether or not you’re planning to expand the building in the future. If so, we can design your building with this in mind.

Step Two – Site Specific Engineering

We want your building to be durable, affordable, and fully functional. In order to achieve this, we assess the needs of your building within the context of the topography, surrounding terrain and wind region. When combining this data with the use to which you intend to put your building, we are able to establish the optimum wind speed for it, and therefore ensure that it will fulfil your requirements.

Step Three – Do You Need Insulation?

At Integrity we would recommend insulation for the majority of kit form agricultural buildings. Whether you’re planning a barn, or a storage shed, heat is essential to the energy efficiency of your construction. Insulation will ensure that the space stays warm in the winter months and remains cool in summer. It also stops the formation of condensation which is a primary consideration if you’re storing grain.

Step Four – Which Design Features?

Step Five – Option to Self-Build

Kit form agricultural buildings arrive in flat-pack format with a load list, build manual and architectural drawings included. We provide everything a client requires should they choose to self-build. If, however, you choose to have Integrity construct your steel building for you, we can provide the team and project manage the process for you. We can also complete an internal fit-out, if appropriate.
